Ingredients:
- 6 macarons assorted flavors
- 1 pint of ice cream your choice of flavor
Instructions:
Allow the ice cream to soften slightly at room temperature for easier spreading
Match macarons of similar sizes and flavors
Place a scoop of ice cream on the flat side of one macaron
Top with another macaron, flat side down, to create a sandwich
Repeat with remaining macarons and ice cream
Optional: Roll the sides of the ice cream in sprinkles, nuts, or chocolate chips for added texture and flavor
Place the sandwiches in the freezer for at least 1 hour to firm up before serving
